Women’s Health in Dermatology Conference
June 26, 2026 | 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Jointly provided by The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and The Dermatology Collaborative
What to Expect
Our inaugural event will feature dermatology’s collaboration with gynecology
This conference will focus on the effects of perimenopause/menopause on skin and hair health.
Women notice changes to their skin and hair as early as perimenopause. Every woman’s journey is different, therefore, their needs are different when it comes to addressing the changes they may be experiencing. We, as dermatologists, need to be prepared to understand the effects these hormonal changes have on our patients. Deepening our understanding of the science of menopause will allow us to better assist our patients during this transition phase of their lives.
After participating in this conference, the learner should be better able to:
Review new menopause and hormone replacement therapy literature and standards of care, as they relate to dermatologic disease
Understand the use of GLP-1 medications for inflammatory conditions and menopause care
Address menopause related hair loss, vulvovaginal conditions, and sexual health
Address cosmetic concerns during menopause
